Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: 09-Sep-2026
This Cancellation Policy applies to all services offered by Castle Gate Business Solutions, including One-Time Setup, Free Demo, Paid Demo, Training Sessions, and Monthly / Quarterly / Half-Yearly / Yearly Retainers for Bookkeeping and Zoho Support. It works alongside — and does not replace — the terms of your signed Master Services Agreement (MSA) and any applicable Statement of Work (SOW).
1. Free Demo
- Free Demos carry no charge, so no cancellation terms apply. You're welcome to reschedule at any time.
2. Paid Demo & Training Sessions
- All fees paid for a Paid Demo or Training Session are non-refundable.
- You may reschedule once, free of charge, provided the request is made at least 1 business day before the scheduled session.
- Requests made less than 1 business day in advance, or a no-show, will result in the session being forfeited, with no further reschedule offered.
3. One-Time Setup
- Setup fees are non-refundable.
4. Fees and Payments
- Fees are agreed in advance and may be structured as project-based or ongoing engagements. Payment terms are outlined in individual agreements.
5. Retainer Services (Monthly / Quarterly / Half-Yearly / Yearly)
- Once a payment has been made for any billing cycle (Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly, or Yearly), that payment is non-refundable, regardless of the extent to which the service is used during that cycle.
- Cancellation of a retainer requires written notice, in accordance with the notice period specified in your signed Master Services Agreement (MSA).
- As a general reference: notice provided at any point in a calendar month typically takes effect at the end of the following calendar month (e.g. notice given in June takes effect 31 July).
- All fees payable up to the effective date of cancellation are non-refundable.
- Upon cancellation, access and documentation will be handed over once all outstanding dues are settled.
- This summary is for general reference only. The exact cancellation and termination terms governing your engagement — including notice periods, immediate-termination conditions, and post-termination obligations are set out in the Cancellation & Termination section of your signed MSA, which shall prevail in the event of any difference.
6. General
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@castlegate.co
- This policy is governed by, and forms part of, the terms of your Master Services Agreement with Castle Gate Business Solutions.
- Castle Gate reserves the right to update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking or engagement will apply.
